BJP’s State President’s Election Next Week, Date To Be Announced After The Parliament Session | X

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The election to the post of the BJP’s state unit president may be held next week.

The Parliament session is ending on Friday. So, the date for election to the post of state unit president may be announced after the end of the Parliament session.

According to sources in the party, the BJP is planning to hold the election before April 15. The party has to elect its national president this time.

MP is one of the states where the unit heads are yet to be elected before the election of the party’s national president. Two months have passed since the district unit presidents were elected in MP.

Immediately after the election of the district unit heads, the state party president was to be elected, but it was put off for various reasons.

Debates over names of the candidate intensifies

As the dates for election to the post of state party president are nearing, the discussions over the names of candidates for the post have intensified.

There are talks that some tribal leader may be elected as state party president.

The names of tribal leaders, like Rajya Sabha member Sumer Singh Solanki, MP from Khargone Gajendra Patel, Mandla MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, and Minister for Public Health Engineering Sampatiya Uike are doing the rounds for the post.

Apart from them, the name of legislator from Betul Hemant Khandelwal is also being discussed.
