The Delhi government can give a big gift to women on International Women’s Day. During the assembly elections, the BJP promised to give ₹ 2500 to every woman under the Mahila Samman Yojana. It is now being speculated that the Delhi government may fulfill this promise on 8 March.
BJP’s big program on Women’s Day
According to sources, the BJP is going to organize a grand program in honor of women. During this program, the party can make an important announcement on its biggest election promise.
When Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva was talked about in this regard, he said,
“March 8 is International Women’s Day, but I believe that every day should be celebrated as Women’s Day in the country. Our government is ready to work for all classes. ”
He further said that on March 8, the situation regarding the government’s plans will be clear.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta claims to fulfill promises
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also made a statement that the promises made to women during the election will be fulfilled. They said,
“The promises we have made about Delhi will be fulfilled. The previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has left an empty treasure, yet we will fulfill our promises. ”
The Chief Minister also informed that many meetings have been held regarding Mahila Samman Yojana. They said,
“There are challenges, but we will definitely implement this scheme for the women of Delhi. It is our responsibility to live up to the expectations of the public. “
Along with this, he also targeted the opposition and said that it would be our priority to expose those who looted Delhi and falsely propagated. He assured that every money of the people of Delhi will be calculated.
