Delhi: The BJP has been in a dilemma due to the statements of its own MPs on the Supreme Court’s comments on the tenure limit of the powers of the Governor and the powers. After the Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s statement on the reputation and powers of the Supreme Court, BJP MPs Dubey and Dinesh on Saturday made a statement about the Supreme Court and Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna. After this, after receiving a strong response from the entire country including the opposition, the BJP separated itself from the statements of both its MPs. His decision did not even calm down the matter that on Sunday, another party MP Manan Kumar Mishra supported Nishikant Dubey’s statement and questioned the process and decisions of the Supreme Court and put ghee in the fire.

It seems that the BJP is now stuck in a lot of difficulty due to these bad statements of MPs. Congress national spokesperson Jairam Ramesh has raised strict questions on this, while a Supreme Court lawyer sought permission from Attorney General to register a contempt case against BJP MPs. Apart from this, the former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association has written his concern by writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Overall, this issue is now becoming a fork for the BJP.

Complaints of contempt will be filed.

Supreme Court lawyer Anas Tanveer has filed a contempt complaint against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. AGR R. Permission has been sought to initiate criminal contempt proceedings seeking a letter to Venkatarmani. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the case and has agreed to hear the petition of advocate Tanveer. The court said that if the reputation of the court has been hurt and the statement has been given on the public platform, then we can issue notice directly. However, no notice has been issued yet. Meanwhile, former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Adish C. Aggarwal has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing concern over MP Dubey’s remarks on the Supreme Court. He has called for curbing the comments of BJP leaders on the judiciary. He said that it is necessary that the ruling leaders do not make public statements that damage the cordial relations between the judiciary and the executive.

Bengal is burning, court eyes are closed

On the statement of Mishra Nishikant Dubey, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Manan Kumar Mishra said that he may have taken the name of the Chief Justice at that time, the Supreme Court decides on any matter, not which judge takes the decision. When it came to Manipur, the Supreme Court took cognizance of self. Now West Bengal is burning and the Supreme Court’s eyes are closed, so the eyes of the whole country are only on the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has set a period of 3 months; Constitution makers could also do this. He gave such a good constitution to the country, but if the limit of tenure was not fixed for the Governor and the President, then there will definitely be any reason behind it. Law is the job of Parliament. It is the responsibility of the court to explain this.

BJP’s ‘damage control’

After BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma criticized and want to know why action was not taken against the two, the Congress on Monday termed the move to keep the party away from the statements made by the BJP on the Supreme Court on the Supreme Court. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that there is no point in separating themselves from the disgusting statements made by the BJP president against the Chief Justice of India by two MPs.
