The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday claimed that Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is spending more time in Vietnam than his parliamentary constituency. The BJP demanded him to clarify the “extraordinary attachment” towards the south-east Asian country Vietnam.
BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a press conference,
“Where is Rahul Gandhi?” I have heard that he has gone to Vietnam. “
The BJP also alleged that Rahul Gandhi spent 22 days in Vietnam during the new year and he spends more time abroad than his parliamentary constituency.

“Tell Rahul Gandhi, why so much love with Vietnam?” – BJP
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad also attacked the decision of the Karnataka government to give 4% reservation to Muslims in government contracts and questioned Rahul Gandhi’s repeated foreign visits.
He said:
“Rahul Gandhi does not spend long in his constituency. Why has he suddenly increased so much love for Vietnam? He is the Leader of Opposition and should be available in India. “
Prasad further said,
“Rahul Gandhi should tell the country about his extraordinary attachment to Vietnam. His visit to Vietnam is very shocking. ”
The BJP has been targeting Rahul Gandhi’s foreign visits for a long time, and has been trying to present him as a “irresponsible” leader.
