Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A transport businessman committed suicide by hanging himself in his office in the Lasudia area on Sunday. The incident came to light late at night when the businessman did not return home. His wife, concerned about his whereabouts, asked their son to look for him. The son went to the office and found his father hanging.
According to the police, Santosh Mohe (52), a resident of Scheme No 114, had left for his office on Sunday evening. His son said that his father did not express any concerns or signs of pressure during their last interactions.
Made last video call to family
Before leaving, Santosh spoke with his family during a group video call, followed by a long conversation with his wife. However, when he did not return home by 1:30 am, his wife woke their son. The son tried calling his father but received no response.
Upon reaching the office, he found Santosh hanging. The son immediately called an ambulance, but Santosh was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. Santosh left a suicide note in which he mentioned being troubled by “three” people. Police are investigating the matter and taking statements from all the concerned people.
