Noida: In a bizarre incident, members of a society in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, who were not able to make it to the Maha Kumbh, took a dip in the swimming pool of a society considering it as the Triveni Sangam. The society members managed to get the holy water from the Triveni Sangam in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj and poured it into the swimming pool.
The incident was recorded on camera and soon the video went viral on social media. In the video, females of Noida’s ATS society could be seen taking a dip in the swimming pool of the society in which the holy water from the Triveni Sangam was mixed.
They also raised ‘Har Har Gange’ slogans. They also reportedly offered prayers considering it as the Sangam.

The Maha Kumbh 2025 has so far drawn around 60 crore pilgrims to the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati for a holy dip.
Digital Snan Viral Video:
A local entrepreneur, Dipak Goyal offered a ‘digital snan’ for those who could not visit the Maha Kumbh, allowing devotees to send their photographs via WhatsApp for ritual immersion in the Sangam. This symbolic act is offered at a price of Rs 1,100 per person. A video showcasing this unique service has gone viral, drawing both criticism and curiosity. Some users ridiculed the idea, calling it an exploitation of faith, while others saw it as a convenient alternative.

In the Sanatana Dharma, it is believed that people should take a dip in the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh to wash away their sins.
