Mumbai – A worrying situation has arisen in the premises of the official residence of Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbare located in Bara Bangla area of Thane, where chickens have been infected with bird flu. It was found that all the chickens and hens in the area of one kilometer around this bungalow had been destroyed.
Although the Animal Husbandry Department did not clarify the matter, but said that the bird flu disease is limited to a certain area.
40 to 50 chickens were reared in the Commissioner’s bungalow. From last week these chickens started dying one by one. So the Animal Husbandry Department was immediately contacted. During investigation, the chickens were found dead due to bird flu. However, according to the Animal Husbandry Department, its spread is in a very limited area.
