Billionaire in India: The number of rich people in India has increased. The number of Indians with assets worth more than $ 10 million (about Rs 87 crore) in the country increased by six percent to 85,698 last year. There are now 191 billionaires in India. This information has been revealed in the Wealth Report 2025 released by Global Real Estate Counseling Company Night Frank on Wednesday.

According to the report, the number of individuals with high net assets (HNWI) in India is expected to increase from 80,686 to 85,698 in 2024 in 2023. The company said that by 2028 the number is expected to increase to 93,753. This shows that the number of rich people in India is increasing.

More money indicates strong economic growth

The increasing number of individuals with high net property reflects the country’s strong long -term economic growth, rising investment opportunities and developing luxury market. With this, India has established a major country in global wealth creation. According to the report, this figure is expected to increase in the next few years.

 

In 2019, this number was only seven.

The population of billionaires in India will also see a strong growth on an annual basis in 2024. The counseling company said that ‘currently 191 billionaires in India. Of these, 26 were included in this category last year, while in 2019 this number was only seven, that is, its number has increased by 27 times in 5 years.
