Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh): 28 bikers, including two women, arrived on Tuesday as part of the third edition of “Riders in the Wild-2025” witnessed a unique blend of adventure and heritage of Khajuraho.

Organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board in collaboration with Mostech, the event aims to boost adventure tourism in the state. The rally began on January 5 and will cover several off-beat destinations across Madhya Pradesh.

The riders, hailing from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Udaipur, and Rajasthan, reached Khajuraho via Tikamgarh and Chanderi. During their visit, they explored the architectural marvels of the Khajuraho temples through a heritage walk, marveling at the intricate carvings and artistic grandeur that highlight Bundelkhand’s glorious past.

The group also visited the Adivarta Tribal Museum, where they gained insights into the region’s tribal lifestyle, art, and traditions. Rare artifacts and cultural displays left a lasting impression on the visitors. In the evening, the bikers experienced the captivating light and sound show, which brought the history and mythology of the Khajuraho temples to life.

Project Manager Brij Mohan Vishwakarma shared that the bikers’ journey will continue through Panna, Satna, Rewa, and Sidhi, culminating at Parsili Resort. Activities like barefoot sand trekking, bird watching, jungle walks, and a visit to the Millet Museum are planned.

An ambulance and medical team are accompanying the rally to ensure safety and health support. This initiative not only promotes MP’s lesser-known destinations but also highlights its rich cultural heritage.
