Ranchi, 07 July (Hindustan Times). Bike-borne criminals shot and injured a person on Friday near Oak Forest located in Old Argora Chowk under Argora police station area.
According to the information received, two criminals who came riding on a bike shot Ranjit Kumar Gupta. The bullet hit Ranjit’s leg. After shooting, the criminals fled towards the jackfruit turn. The local people present on the spot sent Ranjit Kumar Gupta to RIMS Hospital.
After getting the information of the incident, DSP Raja Kumar Mitra, station in-charge reached the spot and is investigating the matter. Station in-charge Brij Kumar told that a person was shot in the leg. He has been sent to RIMS. The matter is being thoroughly investigated. Nearby CCTV footage is also being scrutinised.
