Preparations for 2025 assembly elections were discussed in the third important meeting of the Grand Alliance. All parties emphasized unity and coordination. The meeting also decided to support the Bihar bandh organized by the Left parties on 20 May.
Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership clear
Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav said after the meeting that he is “completely cool”, which showed his confidence clearly. He said in the meeting that all parties of the Grand Alliance should start preparations in 243 assembly seats from now. Also, he directed to spread the failures and weaknesses of the NDA government to the public.
Decision to campaign at panchayat level
The Grand Alliance also decided to promote its victory at the panchayat level. Tejashwi Yadav firmly introduced the agenda of unity and development of the grand alliance on social media.
Left party in support of bandh
CPI-Male chief Dipankar Bhattacharya and other Left parties have announced a bandh in protest against the policies of the state government. In the meeting, Developing Human Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni also gave his support for election preparations.
