Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the 10th class result on 29 March 2025. This time a total of 15,58,077 students appeared in the examination, out of which 12,79,294 were successful and 2,78,783 failed. 1. Scrutiny: A chance to re -examine the answer book
- What is scrutiny?
When a student feels that his marks have come down or there is a mistake in the evaluation, he can apply for scrutiny to re -examine his answer book.
- When and how to apply?
The application process will start from 4 April 2025 and the last date is 12 April 2025. Students can apply by visiting Secondary.biharboardonline.com.
- What fees do you spend?
Yes, scrutiny fee will have to be paid per subject. Note that this fee is non-refundable.
- Can scrutiny increase number?
Yes, if a mistake is found in the investigation, the marks are revised and a new result is released.
2. Compartment Exam: Golden opportunity to pass again
- What is compartment exam?
If a student has failed in 1 or 2 subjects, but has brought passing marks (150/450 ie 33%) overall, then he can join the compartment exam and pass the same subjects by re -examination.
- Who can apply?
- Only those students who have failed in 1 or 2 subjects.
- The total marks should have a minimum of 33% marks.
- Students who fail in 3 or more subjects cannot apply in this examination.
