In this connection, an important meeting of the Grand Alliance is being held in Patna on Thursday, which will include senior leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress and other allies.
Seat sharing and election strategy will be considered
According to sources, initial discussion on seat sharing is possible in this meeting. Apart from this, a churn can also be done to decide the face of the Chief Minister’s post and to formulate a strategy of election campaign.
Tejashwi Yadav’s statement
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that, “All the constituents of the Grand Alliance will participate in this meeting and discuss further plans regarding Bihar elections.” Reacting to the statement made by BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, he said that “Everyone has the freedom to speak, we do not want to comment on it.”
BJP’s response and signs of internal tussle
Earlier, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal had claimed that some parties involved in the Grand Alliance are in touch with the NDA. They said, “If the Congress and RJD will carry the bag, its existence will remain in danger. Tejashwi Yadav would never want the Congress to strengthen its base in Bihar. In such a situation, some ally of the Grand Alliance are keeping the option of NDA open.”
Jaiswal also claimed that the Congress and other allies have now made up their mind against the RJD’s “monarchy”.

At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav insisted that the grand alliance is completely united and strong. He said that recently there has been a positive meeting with all the constituents in Delhi, although he refused to make public the conversation in the meeting.
