The State Education Research and Training Council has released the subject -wise program of the annual assessment examination of students from class 1 to 8 studying in government and government aided elementary schools of Bihar. This exam will be held from 10 March to 19 March 2024.

The appearance and schedule of exam

Class 1 and 2: The exam will be oral, which will be conducted by the concerned class teacher.
Class 3 to 8: The exam will be written. The printed question paper and answer book will be made available to all DEOs from March 3 to 5, which will reach schools by 8 March.

First shift: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Second shift: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Parent-teacher meeting will be held on 29 March (PTM)

The exam results will be declared on 29 March 2024.
Parent-teacher meeting (PTM) will be held in all schools, in which students’ performance will be shared.
Valked answer books will be allowed to take students home.

Testing work and discipline rules

The DEOs will depute teachers of other schools for the inspection (inspection) during the examination in each school.
In the half -yearly examination, the teacher/teacher, found involved in misconduct, will be kept free from the annual examination, and action will be taken against them as per rules.
