School closed: 15 primary schools located less than 100 meters in Gurugram district will be closed. The Director General of Basic Education, Haryana has sought a list of such schools from the District Education Department within two days. A list of government primary and government girls primary schools is being prepared by the Education Department. The schools located in these will be closed and the girl’s primary schools will be closed.
In the instructions issued by the Assistant Director of Haryana Basic Education Department to the Education Department, it has been said that a total of 194 government primary schools and government girls primary schools in the state are less than 100 meters. Their list should be made at the block level of the district and at the DDO level. Get these schools confirmed that they are present in the list. Whether it is related to the district or not, after investigating it, within two days, ie, send it to the Directorate with your comment till 14 May.
Apart from this, if there is any other school in the district in addition to the above list, then comment on it and include it in the list and be sure to send it on the e-mail of the Directorate.
Primary Teachers Association protested: District Primary Teachers Association has opposed the closure of primary schools located at a distance of less than 100 meters. Union district president Ashok Prajapati said that there are more than 15 such schools in the district, which are very low, but this does not mean that they are stopped without providing convenience. There is a shortage of teachers and facilities in schools. Due to this, the number of children is less.
List of schools will be made
According to the education department, the number of schools located less than 100 meters in the city is eight to ten. Apart from this, the number of schools in rural areas will also be the same. These schools have 40 to 50 children, of which the number of teachers is two. There are also many middle schools, which are nearby. It has separate schools for boys and girls. A list of all these schools will be made and sent to the Basic Education Department.
