The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will now be investigated on the controversy over Delhi’s liquor policy. This has confirmed this by Mohan Singh Bisht, Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. He said that PAC will be formed to investigate the matter, which will submit its report within three months. He assured that “After this milk will be milk and water of water.”

BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht expressed gratitude to party leadership

BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht thanked the central leadership of his party for being made the Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Assembly. He said that the trust that the party has expressed on him will try to live up to it completely.

He specifically thanked these leaders:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Home Minister Amit Shah
BJP President JP Nadda
Delhi BJP President Rekha Gupta
Other senior party leaders and MLAs

Uproar over excluding 21 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs in Delhi Assembly, Atishi wrote a letter to the President

Bisht said that his main task would be to run the assembly smoothly according to the rules and to resolve the issues of MLAs properly.

Bisht’s response to the suspension of AAP MLAs

Mohan Singh Bisht also expressed his opinion on the recent suspension of AAP MLAs in Delhi Assembly. He said that it completely depends on the ethics, thoughts and behavior of the legislators.

“If there is a speech of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) in the assembly and someone disturbs it, then it is wrong.”
“Everyone gets an opportunity to speak in the House, but if someone intentionally obstructs, it becomes necessary to take action.”
“The opposition should ask questions from the ruling party as per the issues, not to create a ruckus and disrupt the House.”

He said that “Assembly runs not by the rules of someone’s house, but according to the rule book.” Opposition MLAs should come in advance and question the government at the right time. “If they do not commit a ruckus and wait for their turn, this situation does not come.”

CAG report and investigation process on liquor policy

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will be formed to investigate the CAG report on the disturbances in Delhi’s Excise Policy (liquor policy).

PAC will submit its report in three months.
All 14 reports of the CAG will be kept in the assembly.
The Congress also demanded the formation of PAC for this investigation.

Mohan Singh Bisht said that “After the investigation is completed, it will be clear who did what, and the truth will be revealed to everyone.”
