Unaware dacoits have once again targeted Tanishq’s showroom in Ara, Bihar. The miscreants entered the Tanishq showroom at Gopali Chowk in Ara Bazar in Bhojpur district held the showroom employees hostage and looted jewelery worth more than Rs 25 crore in just 20 minutes. The crooks were so fearless that no one tried to hide his face during this incident nor was he afraid of anyone.
Rather, after committing the crime, he came out peacefully and ran on his bike. On receiving the information, the police said that the number of robbers could be 6 to 7. Police have also seized CCTV from the showroom. In this, the crooks were seen inside the showroom for 20 minutes and during this time he looted jewelery worth more than Rs 25 crore. The police have laid siege to the entire city. In view of the CCTV incident, two police teams have started siege to Dayara area.
According to the police, as soon as the Tanishq showroom opened in the morning, two crooks entered the campus as customers. As soon as the miscreants entered inside, the security guards present there took hostage at the tip of the gun. Meanwhile, three more crooks entered. These miscreants took the salesmen and other employees present in the showroom hostage at gunpoint and put them standing in one place. After this, the rest of the miscreants started collapsing in the showroom. Meanwhile, the miscreants also attacked the salesman with a pistol butt for not explaining the place of precious jewelery.
After carrying out the crime, the crooks came out very comfortably and rode on bikes and fled in different directions. However, police sources claimed that both the crooks later fled towards Chapra. Tanishq’s store manager Kumar Mrityunjay said that there were diamonds and gold jewelery worth about Rs 50 crore. In which eight armed criminals looted diamonds worth more than Rs 25 crore, precious gold jewelery etc. He said that the miscreants carried out the incident when more than 25 employees including men and women were present in the store.
