News India Live, Digital Desk: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday took an important decision in the interest of millions of outsourcing employees of the state. CM Yogi has issued instructions to form the “Uttar Pradesh Outsource Service Corporation (UPSO)”, which aims to ensure the service, labor rights and safety of remuneration of these employees.
Main Changes and Instructions:
- Now no outsourcing employee will be removed without the recommendation of the competent officer of the concerned department.
- It will be mandatory to deposit the salaries of employees in their bank accounts by the fifth of every month.
- The amount of social security schemes like EPF and ESI will have to be deposited on time.
- Employees will take immediate action on complaints such as harassment, salaries cuts or delayed payment of remuneration.
- The agencies violating the rules will have to face blacklist, banned, penalty or legal action.
Reservation and Selection Process:
- All appointments through the Outsource Service Corporation will ensure compliance of reservation rules as per rules.
- The selection process will be transparent and merit based and modern techniques will be used.
- The agencies will be selected through the Gem portal, and these agencies will be employed for a period of three years.
Social security benefits to employees:
- Outsourced employees will also be provided with medical facilities, maternity leave, accident insurance, pension and family pension facilities.
- State and district level committees will be formed to maintain coordination between employees, departments and agencies.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed to implement this system soon and said that the government is committed to ensure safety, dignity and social justice of all employees. This initiative will bring stability, trust and transparency in the administrative system of outsourcing employees.
