Team India, which was waiting for Mohammed Shami in Australia, was left breathless when Indian fast bowler Syed Mushtaq Ali was seen in pain while playing against Madhya Pradesh in the tournament. While trying to stop the ball on follow through, Shami fell on the ground and suffered a serious back strain. Shami remained sitting on the field holding his back for a long time, due to which everyone became tense. The question in the mind of every Indian cricket fan is whether Shami has got injured again? How serious is the injury of Team India’s experienced fast bowler? Shami has answered all these questions in one of his posts.
Shami gave update on fitness
Actually, putting an end to all kinds of rumours, Shami has declared himself completely fit. Shami has shared some pictures on his X account, in which he is seen sweating in the gym. Shami has shared a photo of his legs, in which he is working out. The fast bowler wrote in the caption, “Strong legs, strong mind and strong body.” It can be understood from this post of Shami that this thing fits perfectly. The injury against Madhya Pradesh was just a small injury, nothing more than that. Let us tell you that the eyes of the Indian selectors are constantly fixed on Shami’s fitness. If Shami is completely fit then he can be sent to Australia.
Team India is waiting for Shami
After recovering from injury, the selectors have asked Mohammed Shami to prove his fitness in domestic cricket. This is the reason why Shami was earlier seen playing for Bengal in Ranji Trophy, in which he performed brilliantly. After this he has also been asked to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament. If Shami is successful in proving his fitness then he will join Team India in Australia. Shami’s record on Kangaroo soil has been tremendous and that is why the team management wants to see him playing in the Border-Gavaskar series.
