Why did Telangana government send the notice?

High noise level is not safe for children. According to WHO guidelines, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the health of children. Actually, during Diljit Dosanjh’s concert, children were seen on the stage, which the Telangana government is opposing. It is written in their notice that apart from loud music, children will also have to be protected from flash lights.

According to WHO guidelines, it is not safe for adults to be exposed to sound pressure above 140 dB. Whereas for children this level reduces to 120 dB. But the sound level on the stage is more than 120 dB. For this reason children are being stopped from going on stage.
