Balochistan rebels attacked Pak Army: Baloch extremists in Pakistan’s Balochistan province have launched a major attack on the Pakistani army. At least 17 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in the Baloch attack. According to a report, an armed extremist group launched a fierce attack on the Camp of Frontier Corps in Mangochar area of Kalat district of Balochistan late on Friday night. Baloch militants continued firing on the Pakistani army throughout the night. In addition, extremists have captured the Quetta-Karachi National Highway and targeted Pakistani army vehicles there.
17 soldiers killed in Baloch attack
According to the information received, 17 Pakistani soldiers have been killed and three seriously injured in the Baloch attack which started late Friday night in Balochistan’s Kalat. According to a report, most people were killed in an attack on a vehicle on the national highway. This vehicle was from the Pakistani Army. Attack on Assistant Commissioner’s residence
The report quoted independent sources as saying that a Pakistani soldier along with two extremists was also killed in a firing in Kalat district. However, it has not been confirmed yet. Local officials have said that the firing in the area has now stopped. Baloch International said that along with firing on buses in Khalikabad, the residence of Assistant Commissioner was also attacked in Kalat.
10 extremists killed: Pakistani army claims
Meanwhile, the Pakistani Army has claimed that 10 extremists have been killed in five separate campaigns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistani army is once again facing extremist attacks.
