Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared results of charted accountant (CA) final examinations on Friday. The result brought pride to city as five women candidates from Bhopal centre secured merit.
Harshita Parwani emerged city topper, scoring 403 out of 600 marks followed by Mahak Shukla with 385 marks and Prachi Purohit with 383 marks.
According to Bhopal chapter of Central India Regional Council (CIRC) of ICAI, a total of 573 candidates had appeared for CA final examinations at Bhopal centre. Of these, 111 candidates cleared the exam.
Credit to my family
Harshita Parwani who obtained first rank in Bhopal credited her success to unwavering dedication and family support. I began my CA preparation immediately after completing school. My elder brother Sagar Parwani, who is also a CA and had secured an All-India Rank of 25 in 2022, has been a constant source of guidance and encouragement, she said.
I am surprised
Second-rank holder Mahak Shukla expressed surprise at her achievement. I pursued commerce with mathematics in school and started preparing for CA right after. I dedicated myself fully to my goal without considering a backup plan, she said.
I was confident
Prachi Purohit, who secured the third position, remained confident throughout her journey. I was determined to clear CA in my first attempt. My family supported me at every step and I stayed focused by avoiding distractions, she revealed.
