Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Rang Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the city on Wednesday, marking a day filled with colours, music, and joyous festivities.
The traditional procession that was taken out from Chowk attracted thousands of people from across the city. Drenched in colour, revellers danced to the beats of drums and dhols as the procession passed through Curfew Wali Mata Mandir at Peer Gate, Jumerati, Loha Bazar, Janakpuri, Sindhi Market, Bhavani Chowk, LakheraPura, Peepal Chowk, Chintaman Chauraha and Itwara Chauraha.
It culminated at Hanuman Ji’s Madhiya after passing via Jain Mandir Road, Mangalwara, Ganpati Chowk, Ghoda Nakkas. The tableaus of Shiv-Parvati, Radha-Krishna, Braj Holi, drums, DJ, Dul-Dul Ghodi, camel and horse were the centre of attraction in the procession.
Adding to the festive fervor, Gulal and colours were showered on revellers from six tankers. Gair was also taken out from Subhash Chowk, Barkhedi and Shahpura. Shri Hindu Utsav Samiti took out a procession in Berasia which started from Sanwalia Temple Chopra Bazaar.
Rangpanchami was also celebrated with gaiety in New Market, Sant Nagar, BHEL and Kolar area. Baag Mughalia Extension Colony Vikas Samiti organised a programme.
Holi Milan Samaroh at PCC Chief ‘s bungalow
Holi Milan Samaroh was also celebrated at the bungalow of State Congress President Jitu Patwari.
He along with leader of Opposition Umang Singhar sang phaag songs . A large number of party leaders and workers participated in the celebrations. They applied gulal on each other and enjoyed dancing and singing.
