Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal and other districts are likely to experience thundershower with gusty winds at 50-60 kmph in the next 24 hours. With consistent rain and hail, the mercury continued to slide in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. Hailstorms have been reported in Morena, Gwalior, Sidhi and Singrauli with gusty winds at 71 kmph.
Gwalior recorded 52 kmph. An alert has been issued for rain-thundershower with gusty winds at 50-60 kmph in Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Pandhurna, Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Panna, Damoh, Sagar and Maihar districts. Bhopal recorded a drop of 1.8 degrees Celsius in day temperature settling at 37.8 degrees Celsius while it recorded a night temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius.
Indore recorded a drop of 2.8 degrees Celsius in day temperature recording 36.8 degrees Celsius, while it had a night temperature of 23.1 degrees Celsius.
According to the meteorological department, rain and thundershower with gusty winds and hail is due to the combined impact of various systems over Madhya Pradesh.
