Lakhimpur Kheri, 18 November (H.C.). Bhoomi Pujan of 24 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya was performed by the Gayatri family in Behata village of Isanagar block. The program was inaugurated by Muralidhar Maurya, the seeker of Gayatri Shaktipeeth Khamaria, with the lighting of the lamp. The worship program was conducted by a group of Shiva Bhagwan Katiyar, Virendra Kumar Mishra and Vinay Kumar Verma. Devpujan was done by Vinod Katiyar, trustee of Gayatri Shaktipeeth Behata.
Media in -charge Anurag Maurya said that this yagna event will start with a grand Kalash Yatra on 5 December and will run till 8 December. There will also be programs of Pragyagit singing competition and Deep Mahayagya. The group will come from Shantikunj Haridwar for the yagya operation. People are being invited with Deep Mahayagya in 24 villages in the Prayaz (pre -preparation of Yajna) of 24 Kundi Gayatri Mahayagya. Deepayagya has been completed in 17 of them in 17 villages. Three major priests from each village are being selected for the yagna, who will perform havan at the prescribed pool in the Yagyashala on different days. Havan Kund, one representative of the names of all 24 villages, will also be made. On it, representatives from the concerned village will perform Yajak Yajna. The stage was conducted by Rajkishore Verma of Youth Cell. During this, Rajendra Kumar Katiyar, Prem Katiyar, Raj Bahadur Katiyar, Ram Naresh Verma, Deshraj Katiyar, Ram Khilavan Katiyar, Youth Cell’s Anubhav Katiyar were present.
