Renowned Bhojpuri actress-singer and Bigg Boss OTT contestant Akshara Singh has found herself at the center of controversy after a video of her using offensive language on stage during one of her latest events went viral. The incident took place in Bihar’s Arrah during a cultural event celebrating Hindu New Year, where Akshara lashed out at certain audience members from the stage.
According to a report in Aaj Tak, the said incident occurred on Sunday night (March 30) in Bakhorapur village, where a grand celebration was organised.
In one of the now-viral videos, Akshara can be seen losing her temper and directly addressing the crowd with strong words. She stated, “I am a lioness, I don’t roar without reason. If you have the guts, come forward and speak to me. Only dogs bark from behind. You are nothing but dogs to me.”
Akshara went on to challenge the troublemakers, saying, “Agar dum hai toh saamne se aakar bolo, hum tumhe kutta hi samajhte hain. Peeche se to kutte bhaunkte hain, aur unhi kutton mein tumhari ginti hum karte hain (If you have the courage, come forward. I am not someone who gets scared. You people are nothing more than dogs).”
What irked Akshara Singh?
Akshara’s anger was reportedly directed at a few miscreants in the audience who made inappropriate gestures during her performance. Unable to hold back, Akshara confronted them head-on from the stage.
The event was also attended by several notable figures, including BJP leader and social worker Ajay Singh, along with other Bhojpuri artists. Reports have also stated that as soon as Akshara took the stage and began singing, a few people from the audience started hooting and making vulgar gestures. This provoked an immediate reaction from the singer, who lost her cool and publicly lashed out at them.
A member of the audience captured her comments on camera, and the video has since gone viral across social media platforms.
This isn’t the first time Akshara Singh has been involved in an on-stage altercation. Known for her massive fan following, she remains one of the biggest stars in the Bhojpuri industry. However, incidents of rowdy behaviour at her concerts have occurred before, often leading to heated exchanges.
