27 murders for an electric pole!

Today you are not understanding the importance of electricity. About 27 bodies were recovered due to lightning in Bhagalpur. The fight started with an electric pole and continued for about two decades, resulting in about 27 murders one after the other. This story is from Koili and Khutha villages of Bhagalpur. Where this bloody struggle took place.

There was a dispute over the construction of the column.

In fact, when the local 18 -member team reached Koili Khutha village to know the full story, not a single person was ready to tell this. Everyone said the same thing, do not fresh the old wounds again. But then we went to meet the victim’s family, who had a group firing near the house. His father also lost his life in this. He told that this story is in 1991, when there was a fight between two villages with only one pillar. When the battle of mustache begins, it means that the battle of domination has started. He said that when this incident happened in my village, I was only 9-10 years old. At that time, electricity was coming in the village for the first time. Lalu Yadav was the Chief Minister and a electric pole fell near the lake in Koili village, but some people stole the pillar at night. After this the dispute increased. The people of Koili village lodged an FIR against the people of Khutha village. After this, the dispute between the two increased and when the time came to install the pillars, they started fighting among themselves. People of both villages said that whoever wins, a pillar will be replaced. People of both villages gathered near Chichori lake just 150 meters from the village and the quarrel started.

The firing continued day and night.

For the first time this fight starts with Chichori Pokhar. One party gathers near this lake and the other is near the house of current leader Devendra Yadav. Devendra Yadav says that firing started in both villages from morning. Heavy firing started from both sides with rifles, guns and other weapons. Devendra Yadav says that the entire area was echoing with the sound of bullets. There was heavy firing from both sides. Firing continued at night in both villages. The police came to know about this, but they could not enter the village. On that day, on 21 April 1991, a person named Ranjit Yadav died in a shootout near Chichori Pokhar, after which it increased enmity.

Both villages became thirsty for each other’s blood.

After this murder, the two villages became thirsty for each other’s blood. Wherever there was an opportunity, he was attacked. The first murder was done by Ranjit Yadav on 21 April 1991 and on 2 July 1992, Niranjan Yadav was attacked by a train. Narasimha Yadav was shot dead on 18 January 1993, Brahmadev, Kunj Bihari and Kapil Dev Yadav were killed on 30 June 1994. Suryanarayan Yadav was shot dead on 8 December 1995. Duryodhana Yadav was killed on 17 February 1996, Dauni Yadav was shot dead on 7 November 1997. Sandir Yadav was shot dead on 14 October 2000 and was murdered on 4 July 2000. This series continued till 2019. Due to this enmity, Ganeshi Yadav, who was released from jail in 2016, was shot and killed in 2019. He said that 27 people were sentenced to life imprisonment in this entire case. One was sentenced to death sentence but now almost all have been acquitted and later the death penalty was abolished.

This stopped the development of the village.

Devendra Yadav says that whatever happened at that time was only due to ignorance or lack of education. But because of this the village was left far behind. He said that if something like this happens, the matter should be resolved through dialogue. The development of the village has stopped completely.
