A private marketing company in Ernakulam, Kerala, has been accused of misbehaving with its employees. It is alleged that the employees who do not meet their goals in the company are punished severely. Such employees are forced to walk on the knees by tying a dog. Along with this, coins are kept on the ground and licked.
The video of this punishment also came out on social media, after which the State Labor Department ordered an inquiry into the harassment at the workplace. After the matter came to light, State Labor Minister V. Shivnakutty has ordered an inquiry into the incident and directed the District Labor Officer to submit an immediate report on the incident.
