Beaten By Husband, Woman Lodges Complaint At Jansunwai, Victim Presents Video To Police Officer | Representative Image
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A woman lodged a complaint against her husband for thrashing her badly and presented a video before a police officer during police’s Jansunwai on Tuesday. The police said the action would be taken only after the investigation.
ACP Sonu Dawar told media persons that the woman from Dwarkapuri police station limits gave a written complaint stating that her husband thrashed her badly. A video, in which her husband was thrashing her, was also presented to the police.
Dawar said that the case has been forwarded to the Dwarkapuri police station staff for further investigation into the case. The statements of her husband would also be recovered.
In the video, the woman claimed that she was thrashed by her husband. A child and a dog were also seen in the video. The child was crying but the man was continuously beating the woman.
Acquaintance dupes two traders of Rs 11L
Two traders of Juni Indore area were duped of Rs 11 lakh by their acquaintance. The traders have lodged a complaint against the man during police Jansunwai.
Sanjay Kardam, a resident of Palsikar Colony and trader of construction items along with Arundas Ahuja, a resident of Khatiwala Tank reached the Jansunwai and lodged a complaint with an officer that they were duped of Rs 3 lakh and 8 lakh by their acquaintance Nitin Vyas, a resident of Shiv City.
Sanjay said that Nitin had shown a fixed deposit of Rs 10 crore to him and he had informed that a loan of Rs 6 crore would be sanctioned soon. Then, Sanjay had told him to give Rs 1 crore for his business. The accused had assured him to give the same and he took Rs 3 lakh in different installments from him.
Nitin also took Rs 8 lakh from trader Arundas Ahuja, showing an FD of Rs 8 crore. The police officers assured to investigate the case and to take appropriate action against the accused.
