New Delhi. The last month of the year has started. If you also have to go to the bank branch to complete any important work this month, then first check the list of bank holidays. It should not happen that the bank is closed on the day you go. This is because there will be a total of 17 bank holidays in December 2024. This means that bank employees will get a lot of opportunities to have fun this month. Apart from weekly holidays, banks will remain closed for more than half the days this month due to national and regional holidays.
Reserve Bank of India releases the list of holidays. The RBI list includes both national and regional holidays. All banks across the country remain closed on national holidays. Regional holidays are related to a particular state or region. During these days only the banks of the respective state or region remain closed. You can know about bank holidays in your state by visiting RBI website https://rbi.org.in/Scripts/HolidayMatrixDisplay.aspx.
