Bangladesh Passport: There are strong protests against Israel on the streets of Bangladesh. On Saturday, more than one million Bangladeshi attended a rally in support of Gaza. These people took an oath to boycott products and institutions related to Israel. In Dhaka, a million people gathered at Suharradi Park at ‘March for Gaza’, waving Bangladeshi and Palestinian flags and ‘liberate Palestine’, ‘Retan occupation of Israeli occupation’ and ‘Boycott of Israeli products’ and shouting slogans.

This passport is valid for all countries of the world except Israel.

Now in view of these massive protests happening in the country, the Bangladesh government has taken a big decision. Bending in front of public outrage, the Yunus government has now written a special line in the passport to be issued to the citizens of PETA. The newly released passport is written that ‘This passport is valid for all countries of the world except Israel. ‘This means that this passport is valid for all countries of the world except Israel.

Bangladeshi citizens will not be able to travel to Israel

Officials in Dhaka on Sunday said that Bangladesh has re -implemented the ‘Israel Nuclear’ tag on the passport to prevent its citizens from visiting the Jewish state from the increasing public outrage over the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. This means that Bangladeshi citizens will no longer be able to travel to Israel.

Let us tell you that passport is a document with the help of which a recognized citizen of a country can legally visit another country. It can be said that the passport allows citizens of one country to travel to another country.

A few days ago there was a protest against Israel in Bangladesh. During this time the protesters looted the shops of KFC, Bata and Domino.

It is noteworthy that this sentence was written on the old Bangladeshi passport – ‘This passport is valid for all countries of the world except Israel.’ He was removed in 2021 during the Awami League government led by the deputed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At that time the officials had said, “We have not changed our stand towards Israel, but this sentence has been removed from the passport to maintain international standards for the documents.” On the other hand, Bangladesh is now taking small steps after protesting by protesters.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has given instructions.

According to a report by a news agency, the Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the Passport and Immigration Department to re -include the phrase ‘This passport is valid for all countries of the world except Israel’ in the official travel permit of citizens traveling abroad.

Protesters condemned Israeli action in Gaza Strip

Neelima Afroz, Deputy Secretary, Department of Security Services, Ministry of Home Affairs, told the news agency, “We had issued instructions on 7 April.” However, the announcement was made on the day when thousands of protesters took out a rally in the capital to condemn the Israeli action in the Gaza Strip, in which hundreds of people were waving Palestinian flags and shouting slogans like ‘Swatant Palestine’.

Let us tell you that Bangladesh, a Muslim -dominated country with a population of 170 million, has no diplomatic relations with Israel and officially supports independent Palestine.
