With a view to make traveling experience more comfortable for passengers, Western Railway has replaced the conventional rake of Train No. 12909/12910 Bandra Terminus – Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath Express with Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) rake.

According to a press release issued by Vineet Abhishek – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Train No. 12909/12910 Bandra Terminus – Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath Express has been replaced with LHB rake instead of conventional rakes. The train now comprises of 19 coaches of AC 3-Tier Economy class.

Vineet stated that now the new rake has better interiors which will provide a pleasant traveling experience to our passengers. The LHB rake train confirms to high safety standards which include anti-climbing couplers, efficient braking system, fire retardant materials etc. The berths of the train are more comfortable & the toilets are also spacious. The train can reach speed upto 160 kmph which reduces the traveling time. These LHB rakes do not have side middle berths, resulting in spacious seating arrangement.

This change will provide additional comfort to the passengers and increase in safety.
