Bandra-Ambedkar Nagar Special Train To Run From December 12 | Represtentative Image
Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): Western Railway has announced the introduction of a special train between Bandra Terminus and Dr Ambedkar Nagar to cater to the increased demand during the winter season.
The bi-weekly train, numbered 09301/09302, will operate on special fare and will run from December 12 to January 2, 2025. The train will depart from Bandra Terminus every Thursday and Sunday at 15:45 and will reach Dr Ambedkar Nagar the next day at 7:30.
The return journey will commence from Dr Ambedkar Nagar every Wednesday and Saturday at 21:00 and will reach Bandra Terminus at 12:30 the next day. The train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Dewas and Indore stations in both directions.
The train will consist of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. Booking for the special train will start on December 9 at all PRS counters and the IRCTC website. This move is expected to provide relief to passengers traveling during the winter season.

Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): A mobile company, in collaboration with the traffic police, distributed helmets to 250 bike riders free of cost. During the event, SP Jagdish Dawar and other police officials were present to encourage attendees to wear helmets. Participants were made to take an oath to commit to wearing helmets while riding.
The programme commenced with the registration of two-wheeler drivers who arrived without helmets. SP Dawar emphasised the alarming statistics related to road accidents, stating, ‘People die in road accidents every day’.
He praised the initiative by the mobile company and urged everyone to prioritise their safety by wearing helmets. He noted that many fatalities this year in the district were linked to the absence of helmets, pointing out: head injuries, and long-term consequences.
He also reminded participants to consider the quality of helmets when purchasing them. The event concluded with the presence of several dignitaries, including SDOP Dinesh Singh Chauhan and traffic police station in-charge Vinod Kumar Baghel and others.
