Aurangabad: BAMU Vice Chancellor Announces Rejuvenation Of History Museum During History Festival |

“Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has historic importance, and the History department in Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) has a longstanding tradition. The History Museum here will be rejuvenated and updated soon,” announced Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fullari.

He was speaking during the History Festival organized on the anniversary of the History Museum of the History department on Tuesday. Dr Fullari inaugurated the festival and mentioned that the history museum at the university holds several internationally recognized research articles. He emphasized the importance of organizing the festival at an international level and spreading information about these articles across the country, which would attract research students to the university. Plans are in place to rejuvenate and upgrade the museum, he said.

Retired professor Dr Maya Patil delivered a lecture on caves, temple architecture, and various temples in Marathwada.

Dr Shrikant Ganvir gave a lecture on Buddhist caves in Marathwada, Buddhist culture, and the contemporary era.

Dr Shivkumar Patil, Dr Pushpa Gaikwad, Dr Gitanjali Borade, Dr Bina Senger, Jaya Wahadane, Laxminant Sonwatkar, Ashwin Jogdand, Arjun Pattekar, Ravi Gawande, Pryadarshan Hatkar, Dr Kamaji Dak, Dr Gani Patel, Dr Kavita Savarkar, Kumar Bhavar, and others were present. Dr Sanjay Paikrao conducted the proceedings of the function, while Dr Gitanjali Borade proposed a vote of thanks.
