The work of more than 90 percent has been completed. The remaining work was targeted to be completed by 30 October. From November, both these railway stations of the district will be seen in a new form.

Mahesh Gupta, Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, said that under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, redevelopment is going on keeping in mind the requirements of the upcoming 50 years at 58 stations at a cost of about Rs 2,000 crore. He told that in this sequence, two railway stations of Balrampur district Balrampur and Tulsipur are included in the Amrit Bharat station scheme. Under which redevelopment work is going on. He told that Balrampur station is being upgraded with old facilities along with the provision of new facilities at a cost of ten crore 78 lakhs. Which will be implemented in a phased manner with the target. At present, 94 percent of the work at Balrampur station has been completed. Which includes platform rising, VDC and Granite Flooring, Circulating Road and Boundary Wall, Waiting Hall, Modern Toilet Block, Tensible Fabric Porch, Platform Shelter etc. Apart from this, the painting work of circulating area Pathway, Entry Exit Gate, Landscaping Work, Station Building’s Fasad is going on.

Public relations officer said that apart from Balrampur station, Tulsipur railway station is being upgraded under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at a cost of six crore 88 lakhs. Under the scheme, the development of the circulating area of ​​the main entrance of Tulsipur station, the station and culture, beautification of the station, upgradation of “platform surface”, ‘station Fasad’ and advanced lighting in the station premises, coach guidance system, train display boards, digital watches, passenger element system, solar plant, solar plant, solar plant, air conditioner and various trading Glossine Board (Sineaage), L.E.D. Station name plates, passenger waiting room located at the station and modernization of toilets etc. will be completed. At present, 72 percent of the work at Tulsipur station has been completed. The scheduled date of work of Tulsipur station is till 30 October.

He told that in this sequence, the work of Siddharth Nagar, Badhani, Anand Nagar railway station of this form is also going on in the final phase. Here also the scheduled date is 30 October. All these railway stations will be seen in a new form from the month of November.
