Poxo court of Mohali has convicted priest Bajinder Singh in the 2018 Zirakpur sexual harassment and rape case. The court will sentence the controversial pastor in the case on April 1. Bajinder along with six other accused appeared for a final hearing in Poxo court in Mohali on Friday. The court acquitted the other 5 accused in the absence of evidence. The case is related to allegations of sexual harassment against a woman from Zirakpur in 2018. Pastor Bajinder was arrested at Delhi Airport while trying to fly to London in July 2018.

The police had said in the charge sheet that the minor victim was raped in Jalandhar by Pastor Bajinder Singh of ‘The Church of Glory and Wisdom’ in Tajpur village.
