Bajaj Freedom 125, the world’s first CNG motorcycle, has been gaining tremendous popularity since launch. More than 50,000 units of this bike have been sold in about 8 months.

Now Bajaj is preparing to further increase its CNG portfolio. According to reports, the company is planning to bring new variants and work on a 150cc CNG bike.

Bajaj Freedom 125 is currently available in three variants:

• Drum brake variant

• Drum LED variant

• Disk LED variant

The company is now planning to launch new top-end variants.
Bajaj is also thinking of bringing its CNG technology into large engine capacity bikes.

It is likely that Bajaj may launch the 150cc CNG bike in the next 12-18 months.

Given the success of Bajaj Freedom 125, now other companies are also working on CNG two-wheelers.
