Chamoli, 07 July (Hindustan Times). The Badrinath National Highway is constantly being blocked during the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand. Now the traffic on this highway has stopped near Chhinka. This information has been given on the Twitter handle of Chamoli Police today (Friday) morning. In this information, the photo of the stones falling from the hill on the highway has also been uploaded.

Chamoli Police has said that in 24 hours this highway has been blocked again near Chhinka. About 16 hours ago, the traffic was started after clearing the debris from the highway. Earlier on the morning of July 5, boulders had fallen from the hill at the same place. Due to this the highway was closed for several hours.

It is notable that Chhinka is continuously facing such problems on this highway. Due to this the vehicles of pilgrims stop at various places. The administration is worried about the formation of a new landslide zone in Chhinka.
