Varun Dhawan’s much-awaited film “Baby John”, which was released on the big screens on the occasion of Christmas, is failing to cast its magic on the audience. Due to its release on Christmas, it was expected that the film would be a hit at the box office, but it did not happen.
While the earnings of “Baby John” are progressing slowly, Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2” has left it behind on every front.

sixth day collection

According to Sacnilk report, “Baby John” collected only Rs 1.85 crore on the sixth day.
This figure is very less compared to other days.

  • First day: 11.25 crores
  • Day 2: 4.75 crores
  • Third day: 3.65 crores
  • Fourth day: 4.25 crores
  • Day five: 4.75 crores
  • Day 6: 1.85 crores

After six days, the film’s total collection has reached Rs 30.50 crore, which is very disappointing compared to its budget of Rs 180 crore.

Reasons for the failure of the film

“Baby John” was made with a big budget and a star cast like Varun Dhawan.

  • The film has been directed by Atlee, from whom the makers had high expectations.
  • Salman Khan’s cameo also failed to attract the audience.
  • Despite the presence of renowned actors like Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff in the film, the story and presentation failed to impress the audience.

Tough competition from Mufasa and Pushpa 2

“Baby John” is facing tough competition from “Mufasa” and “Pushpa 2” at the box office.

  • The audience is liking “Pushpa 2” and “Mufasa” more than “Baby John”.
  • Despite there being no major release this week, there is no significant improvement in the film’s earnings.

What is the future?

The slow performance of the film is a big setback for the makers.

  • It seems difficult to recover the budget for this film made with a budget of Rs 180 crore.
  • Some improvement can be expected over the weekend, but looking at the current trends it does not seem very likely.
