Ranchi, 8 July (Hindustan Times). BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi on Saturday termed the BJP state office gherao program of tribal org.zations as a political gimmick sponsored by the Hemant government.
Marandi said that those gheraoing the BJP state office should first gherao the residence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Because, Hemant Soren has tortured tribals the most in the name of tribals. Hemant Sarkar was welcomed by the massacre of tribals in Chaibasa. The murder of promising tribal constable Roopa Tirki, the murder of constable Sandhya Topno by cattle smugglers, the murder of Rameshwar Murmu, a descendant of Sido Kanho, is the gift of Hemant Sarkar.
He said that during the last three and a half years of Hemant Soren’s rule, more than 5500 sisters and daughters have been raped, most of whom are daughters of tribal and Dalit society. He said that Rubika Paharia, a daughter of primitive tribes, was brutally murdered by cutting into pieces. A shameful incident of gang-rape in a car with a tribal girl student took place in Mandar. Trainee women were raped in Khunti, but the Chief Minister did not consider it appropriate to meet the victim’s family.
Marandi said that strict legal action has been taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the incident of Madhya Pradesh which is being blown up. The Chief Minister has apologized by washing the feet of the victim. He said that if Hemant Soren has the courage, he should apologize to the society and the victim’s family for his anti-tribal-Dalit acts.
