Actor and son of late Irrfan Khan, Babil Khan, expressed his disappointment with the paparazzi while he attended an event in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The young star was heard telling the paps that he was genuinely hurt due to their actions, and it was seemingly about his viral video with Huma Qureshi.

For those unversed, a video of Babil and Huma went viral a couple of days ago, in which he was seen asking the Maharani actress about someone being upset with him and not answering his calls. As the video went viral, netizens felt that Huma was rude to Babil, while some opined that he should not have spoken about personal matters in front of the media.

The video was splashed all over the internet, and looks like Babil was not really happy about the incident. During the screening of his film Logout on Wednesday, the actor greeted the paps with a smile, but made sure to put across his thoughts.

“Kaand kar diya tumlog ne parso… Kyu aise faltu mein? Kya tha vo? Ajeeb sa tha vo… Bahut bura laga, sach mein,” he told the paps, before walking away. Some paps were heard apologising to him.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Babil’s latest film, Logout, is set to stream on Zee5 from April 18, 2025. The film is a cyber thriller directed by Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar.

In December, Babil’s mother Sutapa Sikdar had revealed that the young actor was on the verge of depression due to the constant comparisons with his father, the late Irrfan Khan. “There’s a lot of pressure on Babil, and I am not okay with it. This pressure should not be there, Irrfan never had that pressure and when you don’t put any pressure on yourself, your individuality comes out. It’s not only about work but also about losing the father figure, he is almost in depression. Top that with this stress and compression all the time. As a mother, I feel, ‘Please leave my child alone’,” she had shared.

“Also, he is very vulnerable and does not have a fighter’s spirit. His father was very strong and so am I, but genetically it must have come from somewhere. I just hope he overcomes it soon,” she had added.
