Roh Afja controversy: The Delhi High Court has reprimanded Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev for a statement a few days ago about Ruh Afja. On Tuesday, the Delhi High Court reprimanded Baba Ramdev for calling Ruh Afja ‘Sherbet Jihad’.

While hearing the case on Tuesday, the Delhi High Court has reprimanded Baba Ramdev, the founder of Patanjali in the ‘Sharbat Jihad’ case. The court has said that this remark of Baba Ramdev has shaken the conscience of the court. It was also said that it cannot be supported.

Court asked Baba Ramdev to file an affidavit

Baba Ramdev has told the Delhi High Court about this, “We will remove all advertisements against Ruh Afja”. On 22 March, Justice Amit Bansal was hearing the case in the Delhi High Court. Meanwhile, the court asked Baba Ramdev to present the affidavit. It has been said that in future he will not post any such statement, advertisement or social media that will object to the other party.

Baba Ramdev has been given five days to file an affidavit. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled on 1 May.

Recently a video of Baba Ramdev went viral on social media. In this, Baba Ramdev was seen accusing him of teasing ‘Sharbat Jihad’ while criticizing other sarbet companies.

Promoting Patanjali’s rose syrup, Baba Ramdev claimed that the money earned from Ruh Afza is used in the manufacture of madrasas and mosques. Later, Baba Ramdev defended his statement and said, “I did not name any brand or community.”

Hamdard has filed a case against Baba Ramdev in this case. In which the video of Baba Ramdev’s ‘Sharbat Jihad’ comment was demanded to be removed from social media. The case was heard on 22 April.

The High Court expressed displeasure over this statement.

Lawyer Rajiv Nair, who is fighting the case of Patanjali and Baba Ramdev, said, “My client is not against any religion.” To this, the court said, “The same attitude should be seen in the affidavit as well.” Meanwhile, the judge said- ‘When I saw the video, I could not believe my ears and eyes.’

In this case, Baba Ramdev’s lawyer said, “Hamdard National Foundation India will be removed all the advertisements against India’s spirit Afza product, whether in print or video.”
