Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, a large number of Ayushman cards are being generated for eligible outsourced employees working in Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company. Madhya Pradesh’s Energy Minister, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, informed that this ambitious scheme of the Government of India has been effectively implemented in Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company. He provided information that out of 5919 outsourced employees working in various substations and line maintenance, Ayushman cards have been issued for 3878 eligible employees, marking a significant achievement. For employees working in high-risk tasks at substations and transmission lines, this is in addition to the Employee State Insurance Corporation’s health scheme. Additionally, outsourced contractors also provide a risk insurance of ₹5 lakh through an insurance company, bank, or post office, as per the terms ,conditions and agreements with M.P. Transco.
