Ayam Mukerji’s father and veteran actor Deb Mukherjee passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 83. He was unwell and was hospitalised, and took his last breath this morning. The actor’s funeral will take place at Pawan Hans, Mumbai, today evening. Deb Mukherjee had starred in multiple films like Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, King Uncle, and others. His last appearance on the screens was in 2009 starrer Kaminey which starred Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.
Every year during Durga Puja, Deb was seen at the North Bombay Durga Puja pandal, and his affection towards his nieces, Rani Mukerji and Kajol, used to grab everyone’s attention.
