Pollster Pradip Gupta’s agency, Axis My India, on Thursday came out with its exit poll for the Delhi Assembly Elections, a day after the majority of pollsters released their predictions on Wednesday, shortly after polling concluded.

As per the Axis My India survey, the BJP is predicted to win 45-55 seats with a vote share of 48%. The AAP, which won the last two elections with a thumping majority, is expected to secure 15-25 seats with 42% of the vote share.

The Congress party lags in the exit poll, with a prediction of winning just 0-1 seat and garnering only 7% of the vote share.

Another reputed agency, Today’s Chanakya, also released its survey results this evening, predicting more than 51 seats for the BJP and 19 for AAP, with an error margin of 6 seats.

According to Today’s Chanakya’s prediction, AAP’s vote share will stand at 41%, while the BJP is expected to get 49% of the total votes polled.

Polling for the Delhi Assembly elections took place on Wednesday in a single phase. The counting of votes will be conducted on Saturday.

Who will form the government in Delhi will become clear on Saturday after the results are announced.
