Delhi Capitals’ skipper Axar Patel taught his teammates and South African cricketers Tristan Stubbs and Donovan Ferreira some Bollywoood dialogues as IPL 2025 gears up for resumption. With the left-arm spinner trying to teach Stubbs a famous dialogue of Sunny Deol, it left the spectators in splits as the Capitals shared a video on X.
Stubbs has arguably one of the most improved players in the IPL in the last two years. The right-handed batter has so far aggregated 259 runs in 11 games this year alongside a healthy average of 51.80 by keeping a strike rate of 151.46. Stubbs is also an outstanding fielder.

Meanwhile, according to a Cricbuzz report, left-arm speedster Mitchell Starc is unlikely to return for the remaining matches of IPL 2025 and is among the overseas players set to do so. The Capitals have already signed Mustafizur Rahman for Jake Fraser-McGurk, who has officially declined to return but the former also faces a problem for NOC from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The Capitals had won their first four matches of the edition but their form dipped later in the tournament. They will face the Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 18, Sunday in what will be a must-win clash for the hosts.
