Varanasi, 28 November (HS). Bareka Women Welfare Org.zation, under the direction of Central Railway Women Welfare Org.zation, conducted an awareness campaign for women’s health on Thursday at Banaras Railway Engine Factory (Bareka). In this program org.zed under the chairmanship of the org.zation’s Vice President Gauri Srivastava in a special campaign of health awareness, s.tary napkins were distributed among about 100 contractual women cle.ng workers working in the factory.
During this time, women were encouraged to increase health awareness and give priority to cleanliness. Vice President Gauri Srivastava called such initiatives regarding women’s health the need of the hour. He said that this campaign is an important step towards making women healthy and aware. On this occasion, other officials of the org.zation, Secretary Shweta Singh, Treasurer Anupriya Singh, members Anju Gupta, Shikha Jain, Rakhi Gupta, Rashmi Singh, Priyanka Prasad, Laxmi Chaudhary, Meenakshi Sharma, Shweta Srivastava, Ankit Katiyar and Swati Chaudhary also cooperated. The objective of this program was to make women aware of cleanliness and health and to motivate them to adopt a clean lifestyle.
In another program org.zed in Bareka, the canteen run by Mahila Kalyan Samiti for the patients and their attendants in the Central Hospital was inaugurated by Vice President Gauri Srivastava in the presence of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Devesh Kumar, other doctors and other officials of Mahila Samiti.
