Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, reported its retail sales for the calendar year 2024, covering the period from January to December. The company sold a total of 5,816 units during the year, reflecting its steady performance in the competitive luxury car segment in India.

Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated, “The first half of 2024 presented supply-related challenges for Audi India, yet the sustained demand for our products highlights the unwavering trust our customers have in the brand. With improved supplies in the second half of 2024, our volumes grew by 36% in the fourth quarter compared to the third quarter of 2024. This year also marked a significant milestone of 100,000 cars sold in India. With the launch of the new Audi Q8 and the new Audi Q7, alongside a strong product portfolio, we are concluding the year on a high note in the fourth quarter and expect sales to grow further. We remain confident in the long-term potential of the Indian luxury car market and are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences to our customers.”

Audi Approved: plus, the pre-owned car division of the luxury brand, reported a robust 32% growth in 2024 compared to the previous year. Strengthening its presence, the company inaugurated its largest luxury used car showroom in Guwahati, catering to the Northeast region, followed by a new facility in Mangalore. With a network of 26 outlets across major cities in India, Audi plans to further expand its pre-owned car business to meet the growing demand for luxury vehicles in the segment.
