Champions Trophy 2025: Champions Trophy 2025 is going to be org.zed in Pakistan next year. Due to which ICC (International Cricket Council) has sent the tournament trophy to Pakistan. The trophy reached Islamabad yesterday. But meanwhile Pakistan has suffered a big blow. Now PCB will not be able to take this trophy to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
Pakistan had planned to take the trophy to three cities of PoK
Actually, the Government of Pakistan had prepared a plan to take the trophy across Pakistan between 16 and 24 November. There were also plans to take the trophy to K2, the world’s second highest mountain peak. It was decided to take it to three cities of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Skardu, Muri and Muzaffarabad. But after BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) raised objection on this, ICC ordered Pakistan that now the trophy will not go to Pok.
Trophies cannot be taken even to these cities due to smog and pollution
According to the information, Pakistan has prepared the schedule of Champions Trophy. According to this, all the matches of the tournament are to be held in three places of Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi. The trophy will not be taken here due to excessive smog and pollution in all three cities. Regarding sending the trophy to Pakistan, CC made it clear that being the host, it is an official tour of the trophy. However, it is still not decided whether the tournament will take place there or not.
