The star of the match, Atharv Bhosale, delivered a sensational innings, smashing an unbeaten 106 off just 52 balls, showcasing his dominance with a flurry of boundaries and sixes. He was well-supported by K. Pawar, who contributed a brisk 39 off 25 balls with three fours and two sixes.

Despite a valiant effort from Team Shiledar’s O. Yadhav, who claimed three crucial wickets for 49 runs in his four overs, his team couldn’t defend the target, as the Lions roared to a memorable victory.

Jagdambh dominates women’s kabaddi match

Jagdambh dominated Vile Parle Sports Club, securing a massive win with a score of 49-9 in the opening women’s match of Khasdar Chashak Kabaddi Spardha 2025 at Thackeray Maidan on Wednesday. Mahatma Gandhi powered through Poiser Gymkhana, clinching victory at 51-18. Sangharsh showcased their grit, defeating Probodhan 32-10. Tejaswini overcame Mauli with a solid 38-23 triumph.

Swami Samarth edged out Sparsh in a closely fought men’s battle, winning 22-16. Gokhulvan defeated Nav Jeevan with a score of 20-14.

Sangharsh continued their winning streak, beating Skuthi 20-14.
